Pawsome brand activation for YAKERS
Inline with the launch of their exciting new flavours, the YAKERS website gets a transformation, featuring an abundance of fresh photography.
In the ever-evolving world of marketing, few things are as gratifying as collaborating with a client for over a decade and witnessing their brand grow and flourish. At m360, we had the privilege of embarking on a transformative journey with Kennelpak, a renowned pet products company, and their dog chew brand, YAKERS. With a strong understanding of their brand and a history of successful collaborations, we were entrusted with the task of redesigning and rebuilding the YAKERS website.
The project initially aimed for a full brand relaunch, but insightful qualitative and quantitative research conducted by Kennelpak revealed that customers held a special fondness for the YAKERS brand. However, there was a need for some refreshing changes.
The primary objective was clear: to create a non-transactional YAKERS website with a streamlined content structure that showcased the brand’s new products.
With a tight deadline and a commitment to delivering excellence, our team stuck to a strict timeline during the wireframing and prototyping stages ensuring seamless communication between our designers, developers, and client.
As the development phase progressed, it became apparent that the existing YAKERS imagery no longer reflected the brand’s new and expanded product range. To address this, our client services team orchestrated a three day photoshoot to deliver the necessary requirements for the YAKERS website whilst also capturing imagery for the recently refreshed Kennelpak parent website.
The photo shoots were spread across a variety of locations, from the Kennelpak head office in Stapleford, where we captured captivating shots of the YAKERS process and packing facility, providing customers with a glimpse into the brand’s manufacturing journey.
Then, the creative team headed to the studio for a day of product photography where our skilled photographers flawlessly highlighted each YAKERS product.
For the final day, we travelled to a picturesque house located in the Derbyshire countryside, scouted by our account manager, to shoot a wide range of lifestyle imagery. With a collaborative approach from the Kennelpak marketing team, the m360 creative team and of course the adorable canine models, we were able to maximise the variety of shots captured on the day.
The new imagery allowed us to launch the YAKERS website with a fresh perspective while preserving the brand’s essence and charm. The Kennelpak team was overjoyed with the results, expressing their gratitude on social media for the efforts that brought the new website to life. We look forward to seeing the continued success and growth of YAKERS.
