Conversations That Matter

m360 closely collaborated with our client, Larger Us, to bring their newly endorsed brand ‘Let’s Talk’ to life. For a brand which strives to drive global change for the better through conversation, we knew the brand identity had to reflect meaning and impact. Let’s Talk aims to build broader coalitions for change by designing and running curated learning experiences and providing high-quality and accessible training to inspire action-oriented conversations. Aimed at purpose-driven organisations committed to collaboration, as well as any individual who has a voice to be heard but struggles to engage in conversations about complex topics, Let’s Talk is taking important steps to solve global issues through conversation building.

Firstly, to gain a deep understanding of the mission, vision, and values that define the Let’s Talk brand, we kicked off the process with structured brand workshops. This immersive and collaborative session provided an opportunity to explore the essence of the brand—its purpose, objectives and the roadmap to achieve them. We uncovered valuable insights about the target audience, tone of voice, brand personality and competitive landscape. These findings from the brand sprints informed the creation of a comprehensive brand house, serving as a strategic framework to guide our creative decisions moving forward.

From our detailed findings, we knew we had to create a visual brand identity which reflected Let’s Talk’s 5 main values: empathy, joy, courage, wisdom and ambition. The identity also needed to align with their brand mission to ‘create a future where we’ve come together to solve the world’s biggest challenges’, and their vision to ‘bring people together and bridge the divide, using hundreds of thousands of conversations to drive collective action for a better world.’  We recognised the challenge of ensuring the logo design reflected this, and curated a simple solution; to distil these core factors which make up ‘Let’s Talk’ into four simple, memorable shapes. Breaking down the vision and mission into a simple yet meaningful brand mark with bold, colourful and simple shapes, enables Let’s Talk to feel approachable, accessible, and optimistic, whilst they encourage constructive dialogue around complex and controversial topics and issues.
