Letting the light in on Tropical Blinds’ brand refresh
Tropical Blinds, now part of the Mzuri Group, is a well-loved trade window coverings supplier with more than 40 years’ industry experience. The business has a reputation grounded in trust, expertise and a personal approach, all underpinning their quality products. They approached us with the brief to refresh their branding, ready for a new era of industry prominence and ambition.
A window of opportunity
Operating in a sector dominated by B2C brands, Tropical Blinds faces fierce competition. Their USPs – a trade-first approach, UK-based manufacturing and deep industry knowledge – needed stronger publicity, alongside promotion for their rapidly growing shutters division.
Two brands, one identity
The project began with the development of refreshed brand identities for both Tropical Blinds and the newly established Tropical Shutters. Each brand was required to stand alone, while maintaining a clear connection between the two. Consideration to tone and style ensured a balance between representing the company’s traditional values and contemporary products.
Creating a platform for growth and recognition
With the new identities in place, the brands were positioned to better support marketing activity, product launches and nationwide sales efforts. The refreshed visual direction strengthened recognition across thousands of trade accounts and provided the tools needed to communicate expertise, reliability and innovation more clearly.
Together, the new Tropical Blinds and Tropical Shutters brands now form a strong foundation for continued growth, supporting the company’s ambition to become the market leader in window coverings across the UK and Ireland.
