Puptacular DogFest

After a challenging 18 months of cancelled events, we were thrilled to design Kennelpak’s YAKERS and Pets & Friends stand for the doggy event of the year – DogFest 2021. 

DogFest is the UK’s ultimate dog day out, attracting over 70,000 visitors and some great celebs including *coughs* Claire Balding. It runs over six days in September, across three stunning locations. Our aim for the event was to build brand awareness of YAKERS and Pets & Friends and drive traffic to the Pets & Friends online store. To ensure this aim was met, we made certain that our stand stood out from other competitors at the event.

With the largest stand at DogFest, we featured some exciting events for both our furry and two-legged friends to enjoy. Our doggy visitors tried their paws at the well-known YAKERS Hay Bale Race and got to show off their winning rosette at a lovely branded photo wall (talk about celebrities!). Our human visitors could take a chance on the Spin To Win wheel, with prizes including a free doggy pamper session at the Pets & Friends mobile grooming salon or generous online discount vouchers. And last but not least, the YAKERS Treat Truck had everyone queuing up for some delicious YAKERS crunchy snacks and a chance to learn more about the brand story. 

m360 provided end-to-end project management, working with the Kennelpak team and event organisers to arrange all aspects of the show, within a tight timeframe. We masterminded the whole stand for both brands and worked closely with the Kennelpak team and DogFest organisers to bring our client’s ambitions to life.

The project was a huge success with record numbers attending the event and lots of handsome pooches showing off their groom and rosettes. An added bonus for us was attending DogFest and meeting the Kennelpak team face-to-face, after so many virtual meetings!
